When I first started this blog I thought for sure I could make money writing about what I love doing. And if I didn’t have a job, dogs, house to maintain, tons of hobbies and perpetual training, I probably could. As it stands, I am a much better runner than I am affiliate marketer. Patagonia

One of my dream jobs (and that of everyone I know) is to work for Patagonia. Well, not so much work as travel around wearing Patagonia gear in exotic, breathtaking, remote places and sending back photos of the gear in action. Patagonia has a great mission, high quality gear and clothing and excellent customer service.

New Balance

Great running gear all around. Enough said. (If you are going to buy shoes, I recommend going to a running store and getting properly fit first. Then see if you can find the shoes online for less.)

I recently discovered this online sale, membership based site. The Clymb has pretty much all my favorite brands–Camelback, Horny Toad, Reef, Mountain Hardwear, Merrell, Helly Hansen, Salomon and more. It’s free to join and you get weekly emails of the current products on sale and there are a limited number of days in which you can buy them. Prices are outstanding and no matter how much you order, shipping is always the same $7. Totally worth it.
