Are there any videos with the more slow controlled method. All the ones I have bought seem to be fast. I had an instructor who does the slow method and love it but she has been a hit/miss lately in attendance.

Love your comments! I am certified in the Traditional Authentic Pilates method and am currently in the Lolita San Miguel Master Mentor program for Pilates instructors. I enjoyed reading how much you benefited from completing the movements slower and how much more focused you became on working the body in its entirety. It is good to remember that Joseph Pilates was not about faster/harder but about controlling the body through the movements. Afterall, he originally called the method "Contrology."

Keep up the great connections and remember them when the class is faster paced!

Thanks Walter/@dawnweslept! It really is amazing, and refreshing, of what a little change will do for a routine.

Great description of the class and the variation a new instructor can bring.
