Congrats on your new 10K pace!  What marathon are you training for? I totally agree that adding the intervals is worth it and also much harder than just going out for a long easy run. If the intervals start to get easy we know we have to work even harder! Good luck in the marathon!</description>

		<description>Love this! I&#039;m doing the same thing. I&#039;ve been a 10-minute-miler for about 5 years and just this year have finally learned about intervals, tempo runs, etc. During my marathon training all I think about is adding mileage but now I&#039;m doing one interval workout a week and it&#039;s made such a difference. It&#039;s by far my hardest workout of the week but I just ran a 10k (after doing 3 miles before the race in order to meet my 9 mile requirement for marathon training) at a 9:28 pace.  Such a good feeling!</description>
